BAUT Aims to Increase Sales by 30% by 2026, Take a Peek at the Strategy

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Construction material metal issuer, PT Mitra Angkasa Sejahtera Tbk (BAUT) is aiming for positive performance growth in 2026. To achieve this, the company prepares a number of strategies. For information, the company is aiming to achieve net sales growth of more than 30% to IDR 180 billion by 2026. Management is also aiming for sustainable net profit from this year.

Foong Tak Hoy, President Director of BAUT, said his party will identify and execute strategic projects to drive quality revenue. In addition, the company also implements a digital roadmap in operational efficiency and revenue increase. “With the expansion that the Company will carry out as a target for 2026 and digital acceleration, the Company is on a solid path to achieve >30% turnover growth,” said Foong, Tuesday (19/5/2026).

In an effort to achieve growth this year, BAUT plans to add 2 RJ Steel outlets, especially in DKI Jakarta. The opening of this new outlet will be carried out in stages in 2026. He continued, the company also implements a cost efficiency strategy with an optimization target of up to 6% by 2026.

This strategy is carried out in several ways, including optimizing cost structures, operational efficiency across all work units, and allocating resources to value-added and high-potential areas. “The strategy aims to drive sustainable profitability in FY2026 and beyond,” he said. In an effort to increase turnover, BAUT continues to collaborate with manufacturing, construction, furniture, and national strategic projects. The company also regularly and continuously conducts promotions for the FastFix brand which has been launched in 2024. A number of projects will be carried out in 2025 including the Palu Grand Mosque, the Manyar smelter project, the Amman Mineral project, data center development, and the Merah Putih Cooperative.

“We want to build open, transparent, and sustainable communication to create long-term value for all shareholders and investors,” he said.

As of the first quarter of 2026, BAUT recorded sales of IDR 28.91 billion, down from IDR 30.95 billion in the same position the previous year. However, losses were successfully cut from IDR 6.75 billion in the first quarter of 2025 to IDR 3.21 billion in this period. “We are optimistic that with the right strategy, strong governance, and a spirit of sustainable innovation, BAUT will continue to grow and make positive contributions and long-term added value for all stakeholders,” he concluded.
