BAUT Board of Directors Buys Shares in the Midst of Correction, Shows Confidence in the Company's Prospects

Fobiz.id, Jakarta – Amid market dynamics and recent pressure on the Company’s share price, Simon Hendiawan, Director of PT Mitra Angkasa Sejahtera Tbk (IDX: BAUT), has purchased Company shares amounting to a 66.33% increase, from 6.03 million shares to 10.03 million shares — reflecting management’s confidence in the Company’s long-term prospects. Although his ownership stake still represents approximately 0.21% of the total outstanding shares carrying voting rights, the purchase stands as an expression of confidence in the Company’s business outlook and long-term performance.

Simon Hendiawan stated that the decision to increase his shareholding was based on his confidence in the Company’s strategic direction, its continually developing operational performance, and the wide range of business opportunities that remain open. “We believe that the Company’s fundamentals remain strong and that it holds promising growth prospects. In our view, the current share price does not yet fully reflect the Company’s long-term potential or the value it continues to build through business strengthening and sustained performance improvement,” said Simon Hendiawan.

As a company engaged in the trade and distribution of materials supporting the construction and industrial sectors, BAUT continues to focus on strengthening its distribution network, improving operational efficiency, and developing new business opportunities to support sustainable growth. The Company views the share purchase by its Board of Directors as a manifestation of management’s confidence in the business strategy being implemented, as well as its commitment to continually enhancing the Company’s value for all shareholders.
